The cost of living crisis has caused significant financial hardship in communities up and down the country and here in Wansbeck it is no different.
The government have known this was coming down the tracks for months yet have failed to make the relevant preparations to protect people. This crisis has the potential to push thousands more families below the poverty line as well as make those who were previously comfortable with their finances make significant cutbacks.
