Member of Parliament for Wansbeck, Ian Lavery, took time to meet with Climate Campaigners from the Women’s Institute in Parliament last week to discuss the importance of campaigning at every level to ensure a global response to Global Warming and the earth’s Climate Crisis is implemented.

After the event, Mr Lavery said; “When it comes to climate change, we all need to stand up and fight for action.”

“It was great to meet up with national representatives of the Women’s Institute in Parliament and hear all about their #showthelove campaign.”

“We stand united in our fight against the Climate Crisis, thanks to all those including the WI who are campaigning for a greener future for our planet.”
