Ian Lavery MP and Councillor Jeff Gobin have been across to Cambois Primary School this morning to offer our support after their school was robbed and vandalised last night.

Ian remarked: “I have spoken to teachers who have expressed their despair at what it a cruel blow for them during this difficult period. Not only have they had valuable equipment stolen and damaged, but their Covid secure bubble has been breached, forcing them to close the school.”

“This brilliant school and its staff have worked round the clock to ensure the children’s safety and quality of education during these unprecedented times, and we hope to find the culprits as soon as possible so they can face the consequences of their actions.”

A Crowdfunding page has been set up in the hope enough money can be made to replace the missing items. Any donations, however much, are greatly appreciated.
