“Thanks to my friend and comrade Len McCluskey, the indomitable and inspiring General Secretary of Unite the union for joining us tonight in Morpeth for the annual Wansbeck Labour fundraising dinner.

It was great to be joined by local Labour members from Morpeth, Bedlington, Ashington, Newbiggin and every corner of the Wansbeck Constituency, as well as Labour MPs, members & Trade Union representatives from across the North East.

I’m incredibly proud to fight for the people of Wansbeck in Parliament every day and being able to represent my home community and the wonderful people who live here continues to make me feel very lucky indeed.”
