Last year over 40,000 children in the North East went without a present at Christmas time. Child Poverty continues to increase right here on our doorstep.

Ian Lavery, Member of Parliament for Wansbeck has suppoted the local Cash4Kids appeal for many years now and was thrilled to attend the Laff4Kids fundraiser in Newcastle at the weekend. Speaking at the event he said; “Great to be at Jason Cook and Metro Radio Laffs4Kids show in Newcastle today. Thousands of presents have been donated so far this year. Keep up the great work that the brilliant team have done year in, year out. You are all a credit to the North East.”
