Mr Lavery, the MP for Wansbeck in Northumberland spoke about how thrilled he was to see so many local residents attend his Dementia Friends training session, hosted in Partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society.

“Today I hosted a ‘Dementia Friends’ training session at Age UK’s roundhouse, as part of my plan to make the Wansbeck Constituency in Northumberland a truly accessible and Dementia Friendly community. Thank you to the Alzheimer’s Society – North East England for facilitating this training and thank you to the many residents who came along to take part, including representatives from local businesses, supermarkets and charitable organisations.
