Member of Parliament for Wansbeck, Ian Lavery has supported Labour’s commitment to the Armed Forces with new pledges being revealed ahead of annual Armed Force’s Day.

Mr Lavery joined with Shadow Secretary of Defence, Nia Griffith to commit to supporting the new pledges to the Forces, Personnel and their families.

Mr Lavery said; “This week, various celebrations will take place as we move toward 2019 Armed Forces Day on Saturday 29th June.
I’m pleased to have met with Nia Griffith, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of Defence, to discuss the important commitments to the Armed Forces in our Manifesto.”
