Ian Lavery MP has welcomed the news that a local takeaway has been crowned “Best North East Takeaway”.

Dilshad Tandoori in Stakeford have been celebrating their success, which was announced at the 2019 English Curry Awards.

Speaking of the news, Mr Lavery, who represents Stakeford as part of Wansbeck Constituency, has said;

“Congratulations to Dilshad Tandoori Stakeford on being crowned as the North East Takeaway of the Year at the English Curry Awards! It’s great to see local businesses helping to put Northumberland on the map with great achievements like this.”
