Member of Parliament for Wansbeck in Northumberland, Ian Lavery, has visited the Toby Henderson Trust at their facility at Earth Balance in Bomarsund.

Mr Lavery had expressed an interest in getting up to date with the work being done by what he described as a ‘world-class’ Autism organisation, supporting families from across the local area, the wider North East and even across the UK.

Speaking after the visit, Mr Lavery said;

“This morning, I had the pleasure of visiting the fantastic team at The Toby Henderson Trust.

The outstanding reputation of the Toby Henderson Trust is a great source of pride for me as a local MP and the life-changing work they do for children, adults and families with different experiences of Autism, should be recognised and celebrated not just here in #Northumberland but across the country!

Keep up the excellent work guys, I’m looking forward to my office team taking part in a future Autism Awareness training session and will do all I can to support and promote this world-class organisation.”
