Member of Parliament for Wansbeck and Chair of the Labour Party Ian Lavery has written to the Royal Mail in the latest response to the planned Postal Worker Strike Action.

Mr Lavery shared a copy of his letter, which was sent to the Royal Mail’s Director of Public Affairs and Policy David Gold.

Mr Lavery said; “Today I have written to the Director of Public Affairs and Policy at Royal Mail regarding the ongoing dispute with employees, which has led to CWU members voting for strike action.”

“I am proud to fully support our postal workers both locally and nationally and will be hoping for a detailed response from Royal Mail in due course.”
