Wansbeck MP Ian Lavery has given a voice to businesses that are struggling during the COVID-19 Pandemic Lockdown by setting up a new ‘COVID-19 Business Feedback’ survey which is designed to document the current experiences of Businesses that are having their livelihoods disrupted by the pandemic.

Mr Lavery said; “It’s vitally important that our local economy is given the support it needs to survive this pandemic and the Government need to step up to the mark with regards to delivering this funding and support. However, I want to take direct action on the ground here in our communities by giving a voice to local businesses and asking them to provide the information that I as their elected representative can carry forward to demand action for them in Parliament.”

Mr Lavery’s office have said that the survey have been completed by many local businesses already and they are hoping that more will take the time to share their experiences online.
