To help understand the complex, unique and individual views and experiences of Wansbek Constituents during the ongoing COVID19 Pandemic, Northumberland MP Ian Lavery has launched a Weekly Survey that allows residents to answer questions on topical issues and concerns relating directly to the Coronavirus situation.

Mr Lavery said; “Whilst I am in constant contact with constituents through the many pieces of Casework my office team is working on, I believe it is important that the constantly changing and developing issues surrounding COVID19 are consulted on with local residents who are now able to share their views and opinions directly with me and my team.”

The new survey comes after several ‘Coronavirus Experience’ feedback forms Mr Lavery has published online, with the primary focus being on employees, employers, business and the local economy. Speaking about the process of establishing these channels the Wansbeck MP said; “I have found that through feedback forms and surveys previously, business-owners in Wansbeck were able to give me some invaluable insight into their experiences which I have been able to quote directly and take up with both the Government and the Shadow Business Team. It is vital that at this difficult and challenging time we are able to hold the Government to account and get answers for those who are dealing with the issues first-hand. I would encourage anyone in the Wansbeck Constituency to complete my new Weekly Survey so that I can have respondents from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to consult on the topical issues that are developing day-by-day.”

Mr Lavery’s First Weekly Survey was released on Friday 29th May and will be released every Friday evening. It can be accessed through Mr Lavery’s website www.ianlavery.co.uk/weeklysurvey or by following his Facebook page (@IanLaveryMP) where a link to the survey will also be posted each week.
