Ian Lavery MP spoke to the News Post Leader about a return to schools and the need for all involved to do their bit by adhering to social distancing and other safety measures.

“After an unprecedented period of time off for many there is no doubt everyone is keen for schools to restart safely to allow our students to resume studying the subjects they love in the classroom.”

“The adherence to social distancing rules, the need for testing and possibly quarantine will no doubt feel disruptive for many and will certainly take some getting used to. Nevertheless, these measures are necessary to ensure the safety of those returning to the classroom.”
